In a video posted on his official Instagram page, VeryDarkMan said the backlash head on, clarifying his stance and defending the entertainers’ right to engage with political figures.
Let’s stop being hypocrites, he said. Just because you don’t support a government doesn’t mean entertainers can’t have access to them. Davido and Cubana Chief Priest didn’t go there to endorse hardship. They went as influencers, as Nigerians who also have a stake in how this country moves forward
