The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),Wike, carryout an inspection today of the ongoing construction of the Life Camp Karmo road, stating that the project is close to completion.
Launched in October last year, the road is one of several key infrastructure projects scheduled for commissioning as part of activities marking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second year in office.
Speaking during the visit, Wike expressed satisfaction with both the pace and quality of the work being done. He reiterated the administration’s dedication to enhancing urban infrastructure and improving mobility across the FCT.
This road is a vital link for residents and daily commuters. We are committed to ensuring that projects like this offer value for money and deliver real benefits to the people, the minister said.
Once completed, the Life Camp Karmo road is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion and improve connectivity in the rapidly developing residential and commercial areas on the outskirts of Abuja.
